karauli is famous for red sandstone. it is a export quality , red colored, hard and powerful stone 
mainly the karauli cities house buildings are made by the red sandstones. even the famous rawal fort, which is placed in karauli city, is also made by plane red sandstone slippers. and that is wonder that there is no cements are used in the fort. The joints of the red sandstone is based on a small iron clip this clip joints the two red sand stone. karauli is surrounded by the red stone hills. by mining these hills the red sandstones are get
