the karauli city has better educational achievements then othercities. Llike major cities there are some old schools are established since state times. The Maharaja high school  is established before freedom  of india after freedom the maharaja high school is converted in to the govt sr. sec school karauli  and now a days it was called "Freedom Fighter Chiranji Lal Sharma Govt  Sr. Sec. School. In the karauli city there are also private organizations schools are established under " society act "
